Silver with
roots.
Every shape in this collection has been worn in China for centuries, and explained in almost none of them. We make them in solid 925 silver, by hand, and we tell you what they mean.

Why they ask
“What does it mean?”
We actually answer that.
Most brands importing from China will sell you a dragon and tell you it is “for luck”. Dragons are not luck. The endless knot is not a bracelet design. Behind each of these forms is a specific idea that has been carried for a very long time, and knowing it is most of what makes the object worth wearing.

The endless knot
Continuity — a bond with no loose end to pull
- —
The gourd
Fortune, and safe return from a long way away
- —
Black onyx
Not luck. Ground — the stone for keeping your footing

Explore 02Dragon
Protection and abundance
Scales, cloud scrolls and storm motifs. The dragon in Chinese thought is a steward of rain — a bringer of things that grow, not a monster to be fought.
Explore 03Lotus
Rising clean
Petals that open above muddy water without carrying any of it up. The most enduring metaphor in Chinese art for coming through difficulty intact.
Explore 04Zodiac
Your year, marked
Twelve animals, twelve years, one cycle. Medallions and charms struck with your sign and the branch character that goes with it.
Explore 05Minimal
Symbols, worn quietly
The traditions reduced to a line and a form. Adjustable, stackable, and light enough to sleep in — for people who want meaning without ornament.
ExploreMade by hand, in three workshops
We can tell you the name of the person who cast your ring.
Nothing here is mass-produced. The cuff is investment-cast one tree at a time. The engraved bracelet takes ninety minutes under a graver. The silver travels from Shenzhen and Yiwu and Suzhou, from workshops of between four and thirty people, all of whom we have visited and whose certification we hold on file.

What people say once it arrives
“I bought the endless knot for my sister before she moved abroad, mostly because of how the description explained it. She cried. The weight of it in your hand is real — it is not a thin cheap bracelet at all.”

“Ordered the dragon cuff expecting the usual online-jewelry disappointment. It is 28 grams. It feels like an actual object. Got a handwritten note about the casting process in the box, which was a nice touch.”

“I have been looking for a jade strand that is not tourist-shop quality for years. The grading is honest and the colour is even all the way round, which is exactly what they said it would be.”
